Dino Jelusic an 11-year-old singer songwriter beat children aged between eight and 15 years old from 15 other countries with You Are My One And OnlyThe UK came third with My Song For The World written and performed by 10-year-old Tom Morley from Cumbria. Spain took second place. Next year’s contest will be held in Manchester organisers said.

Concern about Istanbul terror attacks Eurovision fans the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Turkish broadcaster TRT are worried about the situation in Istanbul after car bombs exploded on different places in the city for the second time within a week. Some of the fans think the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 which is planned to take place in Istanbul has to \”move to a more secure location\”. A number of powerful explosions ripped through the British consulate and a London-based bank near a shopping mall in Istanbul today killing at least 26 people and wounding more than 450. Eye witnesses said the blasts were caused by car bombs news broadcaster CNN International reported.
