11 contestants aged 8 – 15 will compete for the opportunity to represent Latvia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Lillehammer Norway. The participants at the Latvian final are: Baiba Skudike – Manis del (Because Of Me) Martins Talbergs – Balts vai melns (Black Or White) Sabine Berezina – Ir laiks (It’s Time) Miks Dukurs – Mes esam viens otram (We Have Each Other) Ilze Migliniece – Tad kad lauka list (When It’s Raining) Kristina Zaharova – Pardomas (Thoughts) Ralfs Eilands – Dziesmina par merkaki (A Song About A Monkey) Armins Larks – Nejust neko (Feeling Nothing) Edgars Smiuksis – Meitenes dziesma (A Girl’s Song) performed by Madara. Nadezda Mankevica – Es velos (I Wish) Evita Grzibovska – Nac dziedi dejo lidzi! (Come To Sing And Dance With Us)From 30th August to 25th September the songs will be aired on Latvian radio stations. Baiba Skudike and Martins Talbergs already have Junior Eurovision experience as they supported Dzintars Cica who represented Latvia at the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest as backing singers. Dzintars reached the 9th position out of 16 participating countries.
