Alina was present in Malta two weeks ago to take part in the second edition of the Golden Cross International Singing Festival which was held at the Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta from the 4 to 6 August 2005. Alina was awarded the first place in Category B and was also guest singer at the pre festival show which was held in Xlendi Bay, Gozo on the 3 August 2005. The organizing board of the Golden Cross International Singing Festival sent the congratulations to Alina and her team and wish her success for the coming contest of next November. This is ample proof that the festival was of a high standard and the competition intense and this augur well to the Maltese participants and winners.
