Norway Post
(Photo: This year's winner Alexander Rybak)The Final will take place on May 29th and according to NRK Chief Hans-Tore Bjerkaas the final decision will be based on upcoming negotiations with prospective sites. He said slo was chosen as host city because it met the requirements as far as hotel capacity and communications infrastructure was concerned. Norway has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest Final twice before: In 1986 it was staged at Grieghallen in Bergen and ten years later at Spectrum in slo. Spectrum is one possibility also this time as is the newly-built Telenor Arena just outside the city centre which has a much larger seating capacity.
